Project Challenge
Provide support services for a department delivering lifecycle tooling services for software development with a multitude of different tools in use:
- Atlassian Stack: Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Crowd…
- CollabNetTeamForge© instance (in-house)
- Git LFS
- Git
- Subversion (SVN)
- CloudBees Jenkins
- Gerrit
- JFrogArtifactory
Plus upgrade of three different long outdated CollabNetTeamForge servers.
Solution Provided
- Online ticketing system based on JiraService Desk for support requests to be posted and tracked online.
- Delivered running solutions to all support cases.
- CollabNet TeamForge server analysis.
- Upgrade and migration of the TeamForge server in two steps with a necessary intermediate version on a different physical server.
- Sophisticated concepts e.g. for an distributed Artifactory infrastructure.

- Better and easier communication as support requests can be created and tracked any time very comfortably in an online system.
- Demanding technical problems, that cannot be fixed with in-house resources, are solved in time (even complex ones demanding long analysis).
- CollabNet TeamForge servers are now on the latest release. Ensuring the latest features can be used and known problems are fixed.
