Over recent years, Git has become one of the most popular version administration systems. As a distributed system, it allows developers to work quickly and flexibly and to experiment, above all when no (company) network access is available. Nevertheless, centralised organisational forms can still be implemented with Git, without limiting the benefits of distributed administration.
